Set in peaceful surroundings, "Hidden Well" is a charming two bedroom cottage with period character and a relaxing atmosphere for the perfect getaway retreat, whether for a full holiday or for a short break. As the owners, we manage the bookings ourselves to provide a more personal service.

The cottage is in the tranquil village of Darsham, less than 50 yards from a quiet pub serving good pub food. It's surrounded by the open countryside of the Suffolk Heritage Coast with its lovely beaches, and conveniently located fairly near the A12 and a railway station.  This part of Suffolk is one of the driest, SUNNIEST areas in the country and offers a wide range of children's, historical, cultural, sporting, dining and shopping activities.  Southwold, Aldeburgh, the Minsmere RSPB Reserve and Dunwich are all close by. 

Hidden Well is everything you could hope for in a rural retreat for up to 4 people. Two hundred years of character oozes from this recently refurbished holiday cottage, complete with beams, wood burning stove, satellite HD TV,  and well equipped kitchen-breakfast room. All bed linen and towels are provided and we use professional cleaners to ensure you find the cottage in top condition.

We don't know quite what it is about our cottage, but people often tell us what a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere it has.  Whether you're after a base for energetic sightseeing and countryside activities or you're looking for a tranquil retreat from the stresses of life, "Hidden Well" could be for you.

But watch out - many people report that they were so relaxed that they overslept, so you'll need to set to set an alarm if you want to make an early start!
