About Us
We are the owners of "Hidden Well", Lindsay Walker and Alex Ballance. We also own and run a plant nursery in Winslow, Buckinghamshire called Blooming Marvellous Plants, specialising in unusual perennials and shrubs.
We've owned our cottage in this lovely part of Suffolk since 1997 and used to visit every other weekend, but since starting the nursery we don't have time, especially in the warmer months.
So we decided to rent the cottage out so that more people can enjoy it. To upgrade it to what we believe is 4* quality, we've updated the furniture, decorated, put in a new kitchen with integrated appliances, a new bathroom and extended the garden to provide places to sit and catch the sun all day long.
Please feel free to ask us anything you like - as seasoned visitors to the area, we can advise on restaurants, good places to walk and cycle, sports facilities and sightseeing.
